Brief
A murder-mystery fashion editorial for Sayidaty: an alien lands on Earth and takes the identity of a wealthy, glamorous wife. Her husband is dead, she has turned herself in, and the crime scene is set — but her only priority is looking flawless. We were brought in as set designer to build that world.
Approach
We built the crime scene as a stage: a saturated, off-kilter luxury interior — red velvet, gilt frames, a rotary phone — graded in acid green and pink so vanity reads as the alibi. Fashion becomes the disguise; the jail cell becomes a runway. Every set piece was designed and dressed for the camera under the creative direction.
